For most teens, prayer is hard. Much harder than it seems it should be. Many teens feel the overwhelm of modern life—they’re busy, distracted, and often wonder if time spent in prayer actually amounts to anything.
The truth is, teens can have a vibrant, passionate prayer life, but instead, like many others, they may have one that is sporadic and full of doubt.
What is the cure for this? Is there a way for teens to pray with confidence? With passion? The answer?
A true, biblical understanding of prayer. If prayer is not a passion or priority for teens, it is only because they do not yet understand it rightly.
This study will guide teens to learn a solid theological foundation of prayer on which they will build throughout the study. They will study prayer as God designed it and apply biblical truths about prayer to their lives.
In this 5-week study you will:
- Help teens overcome the lack of a desire to pray.
- Show teens how to make time for prayer even when they are distracted and busy.
- Answer questions about why God answers yes to some prayers and no to others.
- Teach teens how prayer can be a source of strength in times of sorrow, anxiety, and frustration. Whether you are a teen who is new to prayer or has been walking with God for a while, this study will help you grow in your confidence as you come to the Lord in prayer.
Special resources within study:
- Study Suggestions
